A TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED UNCLE A Great Hero is Resting! Who would have imagined that such brief illness would take dear uncle Benson away from us. Just a few days before he departed, Uncle Benson was so full of life that his death was such a shocker to us all. He was such a unique man with so many qualities that are worth emulating. He was a very understanding, strong willed, and highly intelligent professional who was dedicated, honest, and jovial. He sacrificed his years doing good for his beloved family (immediate and extended) and society without demanding anything in return. Ezenwanne (as he was fondly called) was always there to assist people, going over and beyond just to see that those around him were comfortable. He had so much empathy. His joyful and positive spirit was remarkable, not to mention his respect for everyone regardless of status. He was reliable, and had so much integrity. He especially loved having family come together to celebrate festive seasons where he would connect with every single individual on personal levels. Ezenwanne truly lived up to his title. In his last few years with us, he clearly dedicated his energy, time, and resources to promote unity in his family and community. We pray that his efforts will never be in vain. Uncle Benson is called a hero because he lived his life by example. If you knew him, you would understand. He was available to brainstorm on any problems to help reach logical conclusions. He gave his all in everything he set his heart to do, and we always felt so proud to associate with him. Now that he is in the afterlife, we still feel so proud of him and all he has achieved. We wish we could do away with death, but sadly, it is part of life and is therefore inevitable. We give God the glory and are thankful for giving us the privilege of being related to such a wonderful man like Uncle Benson, who left his footprints in hearts and minds by his good deeds. Ezenwanne, you will be missed, but never forgotten. We pray that you rest in glory until we meet again to part no more. Rest in perfect peace dear Uncle Benson. Amen! With love from nieces and nephew:
